Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Phew... was worried I'd miss the start of the skiing (am having a slow morning). Will be up there in about 90 minutes!

I missed Xavier's run, why did he score so low?

Fell on one of his landings, bit unlucky really otherwise it was awesome.

Now in bed with tea for the duration, a gale forecast for this evening just blew in, on a powder day as well. Sad

Well that was a complete non-event for me.

Buses were rammed and couldn't get on the first one because it was too full; the first time I've experienced this. It was a shit fight to get on the Brevent bubble – some kindly chap barged past me to push onto the bubble and knocked my ski edge into my eyebrow... been sporting a small lump all day.

Skied straight over to the Liaison cable car to find a huge queue. Four bins later and I finally crossed and then a snowboarder took me out getting off the chair.

Missed the comp but I did see two of the riders milling around at the bottom, one tall American chap with dirty blonde hair who was so amped he kept shouting stuff (couldn't see the name on his vest). And then I saw Lopez a little later – he's only about an inch taller than me, so quite tiny really.

Skied a couple of runs and then back to Brevent, where the FWT juniors were holding some event on the hotel face, so I watched that for a bit and was impressed with how well those kids ski. Damn I'm jealous!

At the Brevent mid-station, Zag, DPS, Scott, K2 and a few others had ski tests going on, so quite a good party atmosphere. As I walked past the Zag stand, I heard one of their chaps say something in French and then "Icelantic". Turned around to see them all staring at my Pilgrims like they had spotted an extinct animal.

Yeesh, sounds like a nightmare. The bravest I've gotten today is going out and clearing the deck, steps and digging my car out to go buy some stuff to make my rucksack mount better. Drinking beer and making things at the moment. The feed is online now though so you can still watch it all. Smile

How are the Zag skis?

They looked impressive Very Happy If I had known there would be ski tests available today I would have taken my alpine soles up so that I could try some (I doubt test ski bindings are set for vibram soles).

Watching the feed now, good crashes from the first three men. Not surprised though, the snow has been baking in the sun this week Confused

I love a good tomahawk! Sounds like the FWT party in town is getting into gear – there wasn't much going on earlier when I swung by on my way to the supermarket.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Pretty good, at least they're not ripping off other's designs and marketing ideas.
