Was thinking about taking the kids to the Tamworth Snowdome over the weekend to get them back into it before our holiday.
Just wondered if there any regular user's of the Snowdome out there who could give me an indication of how busy it gets on a Saturday and Sunday ?
Is it bearable ? or just too packed ?
I see that the opening times for skiing are 9 till 12 and the 2 till 5. Any help on what is the quietest time would be much appreciated.

ArseneWengen, haven't been for a few years, but I would get there ready to be on snow at 9am and do an hour.
Everyone has the same idea and it will get busy - personally my last visit was a Sunday afternoon and I gave up an hour into a 2-hour session as was too busy to be enjoyable. May jsut be me though!!!

Gets fairly busy due to loads of lessons and the junior clubs for the good mini skiers and snowboarder which run Sat morning and Sun if I remember right but not enough to be a problem if you are an OK skier. They do limit numbers on the slope so worth booking at this time of year.

Boris, Pretty sure were there with a bunch of other Snowheads/Powder Junkies more recently than a few years ago! If not you need to track down the imposter who was claiming to be you!

Blimey - it looks a lot bigger than it was when I first went 20-odd years ago, the year it opened I think. Has it been extended, or is that video misleading?

I second the tip about going in the evenings - the 8-11pm session is quiet almost every evening (not sure about Fri or Sat when they sometimes have djs etc.) and more so the later it gets. Though this probably isn't an option for you if you're going with young kids.
