Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ischgl bootfitters?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Will be going to Ischgl in a week, and wondering if anyone knows if there are any bootfitters there? The reason that I am asking is that I would like to get some new liners - Intuitions/ZipFit/etc, when I am there...

I live in Norway, and there is not a single bootfitter in this "skiing nation". The closest thing that we have is a single surefoot store (where I got my footbeds from).

Any help much appreciated!

Didn't buy boots but went to Sport Adler just by the Silvrettabahn with footbeds that fitted really badly and they sorted me out really well then refused to take any money for the service.

I wanted them to do new footbeds but they said there was no need and just stuck an arch support on the one that was hurting, basically it was half a squash ball taped onto the footbed, I thought it looked a bit strange at first but it worked a treat and has turned what were painful boots into really comfy ones. A friend went there the next day with a similar problem and they did the same for him, again for no charge.

We might just have got lucky but would definitely recommend giving them a look. I actually went to the InterSport up near Burger King first and they suggested going to Sport Adler.

Another endorsement for Sport Adler, they fitted out one of our party in no time with a new set of boots, 2 sizes bigger than he had been skiing with in agony for 2 years. The difference it made to his skiing was unbelievable. Good shop and great staff.
