Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wed'ze Back packs

I have never been a great fan of skiing woith a back pack but the list of bits and pieces that I like to carry for a day out appears to have expanded beyond what can comfortably be carried in my jacket pockets. Decathlon have this which looks like a good deal on this at the moment.

Is their stuff reasonably durable or is it likely to fall apart during the first week? I don't plan on stuffing it to the limit.

I have had one of those for a couple of seasons and its fine it does the job, Zips all work properly and are in good position to allow access where you want it and are workable with gloves on. I also use mine regularly throughout the year as a day bag or weekend bag to stuff a few things in. The best thing about it for me is that it isn't big enough to get in the way and is just the right size to put every thing in. Like most Decathlon stuff, its a well designed and manufactured piece of kit at a cracking price. Hope this helps

I've a couple of their reverse backpacks for my daughter and me and find them intensely annoying. It's probably me but I find reversing them a faff and I''ve often disconnected the mechanism dropping the thing Evil or Very Mad Strong enough though.

Bought one yesterday. Looks well made so very pleased. Reversing it while in the comfort of your own home seems OK, but bet it isn't in the lift queue though Smile

I have this one:

£5 bargain. Gets used as hand luggage and ski daypack as well as on the motorbike sometimes. Over 5 years of use now and still in perfect condition.

Oh and I keep it on for lifts, etc. as it's so small.

I had one of these previosuly, gave up on the reverse-thingy as I always seemed to tie myself up in knots. Decent size bag though and very hardwearing.
