Flying into Barcelona. There is apparently much more snow in Andorra atm than here though. It's unlikely that we will be left at the airport all night and then have a 'lively' bus ride to resort - I'm doing the driving, and it's a journey I've made many times before. It's almost like going home....!

It does snow in Nice though, doesn't it? I remember seeing news reports of the Promenade des Anglais with quite a lot of snow.

pam w, Yes .. but in Barcelona as well. I posted a video earlier of a guy snowboarding in Issambres marina (St Tropez-ish) yesterday. Then again it snowed in Barcelona yesterday !!

According to the weather forecast the airlines use, Barcelona is currently 12 degrees, with rain forecast for tomorrow morning, getting a bit blustery later on. See? I'm not the bringer of doom everywhere! I do recall the snow getting as far down as Barcelona once. But although not unheard of, it is a rarity.

Just back, and delighted to say that although the snow over here meant stuff was going wrong all over, our flight went on time (although we did have a few minutes of 'will we/won't we get on on staff travel.' We're normally the first passengers to be bumped off in times of trouble! Thankfully none of that last week - nice seats in Club available for us.)
We managed to not get flashed by the speed cameras this time, so that was a bonus! We would have been in resort with plenty of time to buy lift passes and sort out ski school for the kids, only the member of our group who hired the cars forgot to mention we were taking the cars to Andorra, and the second he did it caused all kinds of trouble  . He was made to suffer. Obviously. Still, we got there and only a couple of hours later than expected - plenty of time left to buy our wine in!
Every time I look at my apartment I get filled with a sense of doubt as to whether it is any good. Thankfully every so often I get to have a look at other apartments in town, and have concluded that my place is rather nice. And it has my DVDs in it. Double bonus!
The snow was unbelievable! My daughter loved her ski school week. My mother only got cross once.
All in all, another uneventful holiday. Sorry to disappoint anyone.

I've noticed the Simon threads, Bode. It's difficult to see what exactly is going on after he's edited his posts so much. He clearly doesn't have as thick skin as I do.  Quick reply from you, btw!
