Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

maxhowarth, Iglu is a travel agent not a TO, so you would probably be travelling with CRystal anyway.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

thanks for the clarification. so what advantage would there be to book with iglu?

maxhowarth, none? It's a TUI-run clubhotel, so you might as well book with them direct and cut out the middleman

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

maxhowarth, price will be the only consideration you need to think about. Iglu are merely selling an entirely Crystal/Thomson branded holiday and taking some commission from it (though strangely enough they sometimes do end up cheaper than going direct with the tour operator). In previous years I've been on holidays booked through Iglu anddirect through the TO, there's really no difference apart from the price you pay.

Might be worth getting a quote from both , Iglu undercut a quote from both Ingams and Neilson to stay at the same hotel in Meribel. I stayed their last year and the TO did nothing but drop us off and pick us up. Just ask both Crystal and Iglu what their best price is.

blahblahblah, not neccessarily. We spent a week there at Easter a couple of years ago and only went over to the Avoriaz side once (kids didnt like it). the skiing from the Viking is great for a family plus you can already be coming down your first run of the day while most people are still in the gondola que.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

maxhowarth, as blahblahblah is saying, just checking that you know the hotel is situated up on the hill above Morzine? Just that your access to the town/shops/services etc may be restricted at night, though that said the lift does run into the evening though I don't know how much. We stayed in a chalet on the other side of Morzine and had a direct view across to it, I thought it looked like a good location to stay if you didn't mind the evening access issues.

 You know it makes sense.
