Hi all,

I've seen some great reviews of Navis on this forum. After some search and testing I've decided to go with Navis - they felt best out of many tested. I've only tested 175.

However I can't decide on size Sad

I'm 175cm and 75kg (78kg when not active for a while Smile

I'm deciding between Navis 175 and Navis 186

I like short fast turns and rather slow speed (no high charging) - I prever agility.

Still it looks to me that I'm "in between" both sizes. I do not care much abouth weight, but I'll mount Salomon Guardina for some short touring trips...

I skied the 175s and am 175cm and 75kg LOL. Bit heavier with a pack. To my mind if I wanted a high speed massive ski I'd get a specialist. For a bit of everything (moguls, trees, powder, piste etc) I'd tend to go shorter, but I had tested the previous model which was apparently a little stiffer. I often ski fast on piste so hate it when a ski starts chattering and hunting. To be honest an extra 4 inches (tell that to the ladies) won't make a huge difference.

So... if you wanted to blast high speeds go for the longer ski. If you want agility stick to the 175s.

I've also tested 175 and they felt ok. Unfortunately BC rep then confused me with proposing maybe 186 would be good, without having a test pair... ...

I'm not looking for high speed - oposite, more agile and short turns.

vasja, Hey. I'm a little bit taller than you but the same weight and skied the 186 navis for 2 seasons.

Don't think you could go wrong with either length. They were my everyday ski and never felt like too much even in tight places but if you want small turns and nimble the 175 would be fine. If they are your widest ski would probably size up. I know a couple of people on here are sizing up on the navis or corvus this season.
