Poster: A snowHead
|
These P@S passes are available for groups of 3 or more and save 15 euros per adult. I've left it a bit late to buy them online and get them posted.
There is an option to buy online and then pick them up from a nominated ski pass office. However as I'm buying for 5 adults at over 1000 euros I'm a bit reticent about doing this unless I hear someone else's experience.
Anyone bought them this way and picked them up from a ski pass office?
Does it save time or do you have to queue anyway?
Do you pick them up from a machine by putting your code or credit card in?
Thanks,
Steve

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

matienzo, If you are concerned, I would by them from the lift pass office when you arrive. AFAIK, there is no machine, you would need to collect from the counter

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I stood in a queue and paid for them, the same queue you will have to stand in to collect them. Just get to the lift pass office about 8.15 to be first in the queue.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You will queue with everyone else. The advantage is that a) you don't rely on the post if that bothers you (though they'll reissue the passes if you tell them they didn't arrive), b) the sale is quicker because they just print the passes and don't ask a load of bothersome questions and c) you get a card which you can then recharge online next time you go skiing, either there or in any other resort which uses the Skidata system.

You'll need to Register first of course.

If you go there a lot get the Liberty pass. You pay 30 euros a year or something but get a discount each day and you only pay for the days and ski areas that you use.
Probably only worth it if you are based there.

Just buy them at the ticket office - must be the same pass and paid for in the one transaction. Advise your credit/debit card issuer that you are abroad in case they view the large transaction as a possible fraud.
