Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello Very Happy

I am going to buy a pair of skis, but i don't know witch i should buy. I am going to use the skis to ski on red/black slopes, make tricks in the park and ski offpist. Primary for skiing on the slopes and then 30% in park and then some times offpist wink
Do anyone in here know some skis there would fit for how i am going to use the skis?

Regards Marcus

I think you'll find that should be, "play niceLY".

I know you've got a blue passport and therefore I should make allowances but if you're going to castigate me on a predominently UK forum would you mind awfully making an attempt to use the Queen's English? There's a good fellow. Pip pip. Little Angel

Raceplate, one maroon and two blue . . . and I occasionally use colloquialisms . . . I really must thank you for highlighting my execrable linguistic habits and also to your complete absence of a SOH. If I recall that salutation should be rendered as 'toodle pip' rolling eyes

Hi Marcus, welcome.

Not a lot of info in your post.
Height? Weight? Ability level?
Where do you expect to ski most? No point suggesting a 110mm ski if your going to spending much of your time skiing ice likewise an 80mm ski in 3D powder is not going to be as much fun as it might.

When you want a ski that does everything it will involve a compromise somewhere, there are some decent all rounders out there but don't be surprised if you end up getting a decent park/piste ski but renting fatties for powder.

Sorry for not having so much information Happy
But i am 5 feet and 9,5 inches high, 189 lbs and i have been standing one skis two weeks every year the last 6 years. So i am really good at standing on skis. I am expecting to ski 55% slope, 25% park and 20% offpist. And then i will also do jumps and smalls tricks while standing on the slopes wink
