Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Normally have success asking here so........does anyone have any experience with this? Just booked a holiday today for my wife and I plus an infant but could do with a transfer option.
Not to get too detailed but we're on a MW holiday and the flights are horrendous (when taking into account a child anyway), so am looking at a later flight which would mean a private transfer..............
Any and all help much appreciated!

Try this taxi co who we have used the last few years for Innsbruck to St Anton
office@innsbruck-taxi.com
They charged us 180 euros one way for a 8 seat minibus.
They also quoted us 160 euros one way for a 4 seat car. We did not need this in the end.
It's only 50mins on a clear run. They may ask for 50% payment up front but we've always got away with paying the driver in the resort.
Enjoy!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It's an easy transfer by train.
The buses go from Innsbruck airport to the station every 15 mins or so, and take 15-20 mins (Bus F, I think, but it's the only one).
Then it's about an hour's train ride to St Anton - the trains are reasonable frequent.
You can work out how to get between airports and resorts by train by looking at the SkiRail Map of the Alps.

Thanks for the info and the effort. Outstanding. I reckon bus/train surely the way to go, money wise it's a no brainer and we're in no rush..............
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

,
Here's the "private transfer" company I used a year ago:-
http://www.ski-express-stanton.com/index.php/groupprice.html
I paid about €60 for my transfer not the whole cost of the taxi because I was simply "hitching" onto the taxi organised by others going to St Anton from Innsbruck. I was going to use bus, train & taxi but decided on the convenience of door to door.

welshflyer
, did you book in advance with Ski Express St. Anton, or did you just happen to luck out on the spot because there was a taxi leaving that had an empty seat?
