Reading a variety of threads on here it appears that thee are at least 4 if not 5 SHs going to be there that week, including one hen night !
Anyone else want to add themselves to the list and maybe we can have a little ski (oh ok, beer) together somewhere

Possibly - we're waiting to book somewhere that week in either Val d'Isere or St Anton. I'm trying to talk the OH out of France being the only place to ski at the moment. Do you think that if I just book it and tell him at the airport it'll be OK?

If it's mid january it must be St Anton!
I'll be in St Anton for my usual mid January trip. I've been going regularly since the millennium.
I'm staying in Nasserein and I'll be meeting others I know in the resort who are also St Anton regulars.

We're all reasonable standard skiers.
If the snow is good we ski off piste between the pistes without a professional guide and we all have our own transceivers, shovels & probes.
I've already had 2 weeks in Val d'isere before Xmas skiing in knee deep powder. If I could work out how to do it I'd attach a photo.

It's very tempting - particularly with the added bonus of going out and playing with our new off piste equipment in resort rather than Richmond Park 
At the moment Landhaus Moos A & B have availability for £499 with 2 for 1 lift passes. The only snag being possible shared bathrooms, and a Sunday return (I have two exams on the Monday).
Hmmmm.

Yes, it was one thing us practicing using your new Ortovox tranny in Richmond Park in November. The natural environment for such equipment is out on the slopes.
