Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all,

Just booked a week in Tonale with Crystal (5th to 12Th Jan)

Thinking of hiring skis and boots via snowbrainer (Rent Delpero). Does anyone have experience with this shop?

Comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

Don't know that shop mate but I'm in tonale as we speak, the hire shop attached to our hotel (gran paradiso) was pretty poor, we are with crystal in resort (booked through Thomson) and the guy was so over stretched he threw anything at us, not a problem for me as I took my own boots but the poor wife was nearly crippled by hers, they did exchange them but can't help but think a little more effort would've prevented it in the first place.

redbaron51, you can book through skiset (online). Shop you collect from is in middle of town....bit of a walk if staying in above mentioned paradiso. If staying there, their own hire shop is fine whe quiet tkme (like your week) great selection of bootx and skis. PT is a nice ski resort....great views. This was my vid from 2yrs ago

sted, cheers mate. Cannot afford Paradiso this season. I will try to spend as much time as possible to get a proper boot.

Jon Ford, Nice vid. Skiset seems a little be more expensive, but will double-check again before booking.
