Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer Venice M-P to Kronplatz

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
My work schedule has left me with an easy option to fly back into Venice M-P on the Thursday before a planned trip to Corvara the following Sunday. So I thought what the hell I am not coming home for a couple of days to fly back out, I will take my gear leave it in left luggage at M-P on the outward leg and have 3 days on my ownsome before.

Now I was planning on catching the Thursday transfer of the Dolomitistars bus and having 3 days in Zoldo Alto and then getting picked up from there on the Sunday (easy option) But I now quite fancy doing the Kronplatz area instead.

So my question is, has anyone any experience of travelling to Kronplatz from Venice M-P using public transport and is it really worth the effort, i.e. should I stick with my original plan of going to Zoldo Alto for 3 days.

Well you would need to get firstly from Venice to Cortina. Then you would need to get another bus or transport mode (Taxi ?) to get to the Kronplatz area. It's not silly far to Kronplatz from Cortina though.
