Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mongenerve 6th -12 Jan , Anyone else there to team up with ?

2 of us are staying in the Rois Mages Mongenerve from 5 jan onwards and would like to meet up with others to ski some blacks and perhaps a bit of gentle off piste, not compulsory!

I'm staying in Sestriere that week. Looking at the same sort of thing...black and a bit of gentle slackland if the conditions aren't too cruddy. My pass will only take me to Montgenevre for one day, but it might be cool to meet up then?

Not sure which day that will be yet, but PM me and we can swap phone numbers/email addresses and sort something out.

I wonder if there is a bus between Sestriere and lift 23 , it would save a lot of time.
or a bus from Sestriere to Montgenerve.

Hey there,
I'm actually going to be staying in Sauze D'oulx with a friend from the 6th - 13th, he's never been skiing before though so blacks are out of the question.
Don't know how things will progress but we're both looking to meet up with some people out there. As Kathryn said, I think our passes give us one day over in Montgenevre. Both of us are mid 20's so if either of you want to have a drink or ski in Sauze then shout me back =).

p.s. Kathryn, very jealous of you staying in Sestriere, we're right at the base and it's looking like the snow might not hold out down there... Lot of walking =(.

Not long to go ,staying in Les Rois Mages in Mongenerve , we will probably do sun and mon in Mongenerve and head over to Sestriere on Tuesday , Mobile is 07803907666 if it fits in with your plans .
