Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Best ski training in La Tania

Hi,
I've just got into La Tania and have been pondering getting some tuition whilst I'm here. Is there a best school to speak to for an intermediate looking to improve that speaks English or am I best off going to ESF? My co travellers are looking to spend the time having a lesson between them whilst I'm learning aswell.

A lot of the replies you will get here are based on people personal experiences so I shall offer mine; I would say go with the ESF, I've used them for 20 years and had nothing but good experiences.

Objectively I would say look through the resort website and compare prices, perhaps talk to friends who might have recommendations, perhaps talk to whoever is providing you accommodation, be it a hotel or chalet etc and see what they say.

spartacus74, can't help with a personal recommendation but all the schools (including several British ones) are listed here: http://www.latania.co.uk/skiing/lessons.htm
It's very early season so you'll probably get your pick of instructors. Choose a BASI ISTD and you should be ok.

spartacus74, I've previously skiied with ski New gen who are fabulous, and Ski Marmalade seem to have a good rep too..

TBH you won't go far wrong with either, or TDC Ski or Magic listed on the link above.
