Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Two red/black and two blue/easy red skiers, trying find a resort to suit us all. Not too long for transfers or lots of nightlife. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Very vague requirements! Where have you been before and liked / not liked? Style of resort town? Prefer ski in ski out?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We've been to Neiderau(really liked), Borovets (hated) and Passo Tonale twice. Ski in/out would be great after passo a traditional village setting would be good, probably looking at a chalet and not using a TO.

I believe there are airports at Courchevel, St. Moritz and Aspen so these will have very short transfers. All have lots of gentle skiing and are traditional villages, though I am not sure just what traditional means in the context of skiing resorts.

Maddie240, anywhere in the Grand Massif or the Portes du Soleil could suit you. Have a look at Les Carroz - it is a lovely French village with excellent skiing, just an hour from Geneva airport. There is a choice of a long blue between the trees or a fun red run back to the village.

Maddie240, loads of choices within 60 minutes of Salzburg Airport with very few roads likely to be closed due to heavy snow! And there is nothing to beat the Apres scene in Austria if that is also part of the package you are looking for.

What about Flaine? Not expensive, good easy blues and greens and some excellent excellent reds.

Alpe d'huez would be another suggestion - certainly great to learn to ski in and the longest black in europe to play with.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Yes. Simply book a flight on an Airbus A320 to Courchevel.
