Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

carroz, The post office does take them but it won't be cheap... Is it to another ski resort? Could you ask a local transfer company if they could take it? Or you could get in touch with these guys: http://www.deliveriestothealps.co.uk/ They might be able to help you within France... They are very reasonable.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

carroz, Try one of the european couriers, DPD, UPS DHL or La Posts equvilant of Parcelforce which is Global Parcel I think etc, just make sure you send them on a guaranteed service, ie next day or 2 day etc and that you take out insurance to cover the value of the skis. Look on line before to find out the service level they provide between the 2 locations. Skis sent in UK cost about £20 for 2 day service is under 1.75m long

carroz, Sorry to be miserable, and probably not much use to you either, but as I understand it from a friend of mine who runs an internet shopping business in France the charges are much higher than they are in the UK because there is not as much competition as in the UK. Of course to be fair the distances involved are much greater. She uses La Poste.
