Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Train

Any tips/advice regarding the blue or white trains? apart from the extra two days skiing, any advantages?
Is the 'disco/bar' as wonderfully cheesey as it sounds?

The general consensus is that the snowtrain from Paris is the most civilised. Time for a nice meal across the street fromthe Gare du Nord, perhaps, coupled with the glamour of a Eurostar journey from London.

The disco is legendary.

I think the White Train (Eurostar to Paris, then sleeper service) is a bit more expensive but avoids the faff of getting on and off coaches to use Eurotunnel to connect you to your sleeper service. Blue Train check-in is at Eurotunnel (Folkstone), White Train is at Eurostar (Waterloo or Folkstone). White Train arrives at BSM little earlier (08.38 ) than the Blue Train (09.57), and leaves a little bit later (19.05 compared to 18.40).

Other than those minor differences the services are pretty similar, and yes, the disco carriage is pretty cheesy! Travelling up from Wales I would have thought that checking-in at Waterloo was more convenient than Folkestone, in which case the White Train is probably better for you?
