Poster: A snowHead

Tk Maxx Exeter store has some pairs of smartwool merino socks - ski and snowboard and various sizes - 7.99 or 9.99 a pair as opposed to normal retail closer to 20
Very nice socks though - sweeter smelling feet for me and mrs banana this year!

I have three pairs from the Limerick store (Ireland) so they've got big stocks of them I reckon. Haglofs, Mammut, POW gloves all in small quantities.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Why does my TKMaxx never have any decent gear? Or is that I can't face going in there more than once in a blue moon, so I miss all the best deals? I really, really need some new compression tights - do they have them sometimes?

Pedantica, they often have Skins tights if that's what you're looking for? Also Sports Direct have Skins and you can order online.
I managed to get stocked up with Smartwool socks last year and the year before, from a massive clearance of old stock at EB and then some from TKMaxx. They also had Teko in last year but I prefer Smartwool.

Yep I got four pairs for me and the OH - plus some nice reusch gloves for OH for Xmas - they seem to have better stuff in the ladies dept than in gents - and it looked like they'd put a new load of stuff out yesterday so maybe worth a rummage today if you're in Exeter.
Mollerski, That's a good one - I got some from sport pursuit a month ago about half price - Exeter did have a few pairs of merino base layers in yesterday.

O'neil ski pants for £40 and plenty of socks to be had in the Purley way branch. The faux snake skin loafers at £30 would also make an ideal apres shoe.
