Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any tips for an off-piste instructor/guide in Meribel

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
There are a group of us going to Meribel this year and 2 of us would like to take our skiing further in terms of skill and geographically. I'd say I'm an advanced skier and my friend is an advanced intermediate. He's fitter than me, my technique is better. All in all, we can both get around the mountains at the same speed and never tend to stop between top and bottom of any piste, except steep blacks and even then our rivalry usually drives us on to the bottom anyway!

This year we'd like to take ourselves properly off-piste and that means a guide and preferably one who can help us as an instructor too. I'm happy enough off-piste but lack the fluidity I have on piste. He'd like to get closer to my level and we figured if we were to improve our off-piste skiing, that would generally benefit his on piste skiing too.

Any tips then for suitable instructors/ guides based in Meribel? thanks.

Snowheads' very own offpisteskiing is your man, if he's available.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Another recommendation for offpisteskiing, he's extremely well regarded. If he's not available you could try Ski Marmalade who are based in Meribel and will be happy to work with you on off-piste technique.

I know the guys at Parallel Lines well and they would be good to talk to. They have some guys who are particular off piste specialists, ask if Neil is available, he trains and assesses instructors in off piste skills.
