Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, does anybody know why I seem unable to book a lunchtime ski lesson in ANY French Ski Resort on the 22nd November ? I have tried online for all of the various stations in the resort that I am staying in, and I am being told that there are no available instructors ? I appreciate that the season is not yet in full swing, but where on earth all the instructors ? Are they still performing their summer jobs ? Or are they fully booked ?

, apparently there was a coach load on the way to Hemel Hempstead's indoor slope, but it was turned away over H & S concerns that a bunch of garlic-eating ex-racers may have been less than concerned over their Brit cousins slower reaction times and questioning of whether old knarly, disgruntled racers make very good coaches.
That and the fact that one GS turn at 115km/h was not only difficult to attain but may bring doubt to the minds of the impressionable British public about their God-like status in the ski school elite.

Try Tignes. They told you there were no instructors to let you down gently - they didn't know how to break it to you that there'll probably be no snow and certainly no lifts on 22 November in the vast majority of French resorts.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
