I want to get some powder baskets for some Kerma Alu poles
Choices are K2, Black Diamond and Leki.
Are they all the same size?

That's the fitting to the pole not the overall size

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'd been wondering to change mine for a while, and finally wondered into a random ski shop in a resort last Jan and waved my poles at them and asked them to fit some bigger baskets. Seemed to work pretty well - the guy did a bit of fiddling to find some the right size, but he got there in the end.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I've found they are all more or less interchangeable, if you hit them hard enough and use plenty of araldite!

I had problem getting powder baskets for my very old Goode carbon poles because they have a "special" collet fixing. My poles are very thin and don't taper unlike the more common alu poles.
After years of having a Heath Robinson solution I wandered into a ski shop in Val d'isere expecting the usual "they need a special collet and basket". 3 minutes later they had fitted nice big baskets to my poles. I suggest going to an "old fashioned" shop in resort because they have more experience of fixing stuff.

scooby_simon, you can buy replacement baskets (actually, as far as I can see you can replace any part of the pole!!) from the Goode website.

scooby_simon,
I had the baskets replaced in the Intersport Shop opposite the English Doctors Surgery & Saloon Bar, where you can ski right up to the shops in the "snow square".
under a new name,
I contacted Goode in the USA ages ago and got some replacement straps but the last time I tried to contact them I didn't get any joy from them.
