Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine accommodation - long weekend

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

Me and a mate are looking to go to Morzine for a long weekend, flying into geneva, arriving late on Wednesday night, leaving the resort of Sunday afternoon. We're looking for a twin unsuite room that is as close to the slopes as possible, to maximise our time for a short stay.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Not fussy about board/accommodation type, just somewhere clean to sleep and quick to get on the slopes in the morning!

Thanks in advance!

Jonathan

jonweb, welcome to SnowHeads snowHead

There is a Morzine-based Snowhead with the username DallyPaul who can probably help. Try a PM (Top right, send/read messages) - he may be along and see your posting in any case, but try to message him

Good Luck

DallyPaul's place "Apex Morzine" is lovely and I can recommend it first hand. It's not quite slopeside, but hardly anything in Morzine is...

Last time I stayed in Morzine we were here... which was a perfecto location! They certainly did do short breaks (we did one) but not sure if you can pick which start/end days.

+1 for DallyPaul. His place is a gentle 5-10 minute walk to the Super Morzine lift that will get you up to Avoriaz and the main PDS circuit.

As said above, Morzine doesn't really do "slope side" and you need to be a little careful as accommodation can be a bit out of a trek to the lifts - although most of the chalet owners will minibus you to a lift in the mornings and pick you up in the evening.

I've just booked with Hotel Bonne Valette. It's has great trip advisor and booking.com reviews. It has a reported 5 min walk to the Pleney, and 10 mins to Super Morzine.59 euros a night for half board can't be bad! Very Happy
