A quick plug for our good friends at SkiMarmalade, they are running a series of week long bumps courses in Tignes last two weeks of November and the first week of December. The courses being delivered by Derek Chandler, BASI trainer, bumps phenom, and all round good egg.
£175 a week to be coached by a BASI trainer is top, top value and I can recommend it highly having done it meself a few years ago. I thought I would have a second helping and have booked up this year as well

kitenski, I am going to Meribel on Friday so wont be around... I remember all of my L2 group meeting up to do bumps over the weekend as we all were under the bar.... start your bumps training now young sir !

Not sure I will be in any state to give tips after that week(!) but I will be around on 8/9th Dec so very happy to meet up and ski a bit if you are around.

not sure... I doubt they will have anything announced before september as Derek is pretty busy Elston, they are professional development courses and i cant remember if you have a license, if so go for it great course... I wont be able to make it this year as doing some other training in November

skimottaret, I am doing my basi 1 in a few weeks. Assuming, I pass the course, do the shadowing and what not, would that be sufficient?
For the first time I have x number of days holiday which I need to use before the end of the year! Quite exciting and I am not someone who enjoys a beach holiday. So skiing it is.

Elston, i think so but best talk to Derek.. bon chance on the L1 !! Of possible interest is our Alpine performance week with Marmalade, that may be a better all round course for you. There are 2 current L1's booked on it plus a few in your boat either just about to take or will have taken the L1.
