Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If you don't find out we found the Esprit reps in Courchevel were happy to point out where exactly the ski hire shop we and others had booked with was when we drove through 1850 in the coach.

I remember those days well, and once we had all 3 kids in tow we always took the car and stopped right outside ski hire shops, and parked as close to lifts as possible. Poor hubby generally had to do several trips to & fro car.

This time I`m looking forward to my grown up sons carrying my skis if I`m tired at the end of the day lol

tyke2, Chalet Charlotte is to the West edge of La Ros so, IIRC, about a 7-8 minute walk to the Twinner ski hire place that Timberwolf mentions. There is a Sport2000 (or similar) that is marginally closer on the opposite side of the road. There may be nearer options now - I'm going back a few years.

tyke2, you'll find that Ski Esprit will direct you to Arpin Sport for ski hire, all the Espirt chalets in the village are owned by the Arpin family, as is the Evolution2 ski school. Arpin Sport is located in the Centre Commercial in the centre of the village.

Always worth checking if Alpinresorts cover the shop you want. They often offer better prices than dealing direct with the shop.
