Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Siviez to Verbier Using Lifts Early Morning as a Worker

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the lift system to get from siviez to the top of the lac de vaux bowl before the lifts are officially open?

I'm thinking from the point of view of if I were working for a Verbier ski school but living in Siviez and needed to get over for work purposes.

skir67, I couldn't say for sure, but I would think not. Also, if it's very windy you might find some links shut...

nope...
there is an early morning staff lift from Le Chable to Verbier at about 8am.
But Siviez is in TeleNendaz sector (plus the link closes often due to wind / avalanche / early or late season etc).
you probably dont really want to live in Siviez for a season either....

Thought as much.

I wouldn't be bothered about living in Siviez for a season or more tbh. These days I'm more into skiing than night life and no night life keeps costs down too. It's just that you can buy or rent an apartment in Siviez for so much less than Verbier.

If they'll let you on early you could do it. Tortin, Chassoure and cut left on way down. If you're working in Verbier I don't think you can rely on that though and ski school won't like it.

It's the reliability of getting on early that is key. I know of people that have managed to get on the tzoumaz bubble before it officially opened as they needed to get into Verbier early. However if its not reliable then its not an option unfortunately.
