How about changing the title of the post so more people click-thru? I nearly ignored it because I thought it was going to be another schlock-horror newspaper article

I must admit I hardly ever look on the equipment area of snowheads - unless i am in need of new equipment. It wouldn't have occurred to me it could have an avalanche-safety book featured.

I have also used this interactive learning program before for training in avalanche and snow safety. I've got it in German but an English download is available for 16 Euros I think.
