Poster: A snowHead
|
I skied briefly on some Salomon Twenty Twelves last season and was looking to pick a pair up for this season. Obviously, as the name suggests, they were only made for last season, but they also seemed to have made very few and I'm finding it very hard to track any down. Does anyone know any good places (ideally in the UK or that deliver to the UK) for previous seasons' skis? Failing that, can anyone suggest a really good all mountain ski with a good mix of camber underfoot and rocker tips that will float well in powder. More concerned about the off-piste performance and would rather not sink, but that said, don't like skiing on obscenely wide planks.
Cheers

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

check out the nordica soul rider, slightly wider than the 2012 but actually works better on piste! (bit stiffer and slightly more set back) Its one of my favorite skis for skiing everywhere and in sale its bloody cheap on our site with the discount code extra15
In 2012/13 skis the rocker 92 is indeed simila, this year it features a full sidewall rather than capped though so its a little more solid on its edges (and in my opinion better made!)

Totally different ski, a much bigger rocker to start with different core materials, and other tweeks.
However The 90 is a much better version of the 2012 and I have both.
