Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Thinking of planning a short break to Tignes at the end of November and was wondering if there was anything I should be aware of like will the glacier be crammed with racers?- I seem to remember that it was invaded by hoards of spanish about then?

A lot of the available terrain will be taken up by training lanes for slalom and GS training, with consequent queues on the T-bars that serve those pistes. The main piste down the centre of the glacier will be open for free skiing, and around the margins of the training lanes.

There is a bank holiday earlier in November (around the 11th?) when it is extra busy. If you can wait until the end of November I think Espace Killy is due to open on the 24th, snow conditions dependent, when there will be no issues with queues or crowds.

rob@rar, The Espace Killy isn't due to open until 1st Dec.

I think the Spanish week is after the full area has opened.

rjs, ah, I did wonder. It's normally been the last Saturday in November in recent years, but that means a full week of November so I guess they've not gone for that day this year.
