Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know a company that will ship skis at a reasonable price within the UK? Everything I've found seems to cost £c. £30...

Manchester to London or even South of France if rates were similar.

eEvans.

I used interlink express to ship two sets of skis within the uk, they do europe as well, both sets were on their 3 days dilivery option and cost £15.70 each plas vat. They were the only one's I could find that would take a package 2meters long. Incidently one set of ski's were dilivered to wales in under 18hours the other set went to Norfolk and took 24hours. I sent them from Grantham which was the nearest pickup point. Their web site is www.interlinkexpress.com.

Tuffnells should cope with ski length OK. More set up for business users, rather than individual requirements, I think. But might be worth a try.

Snow and Rock in Manchester often send skis for servicing down to London. Maybe book a waxing and ask if you can pick them up from a London store - it may take a couple of weeks tho.
