Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There is a lovely snowey picture at Adamelloski.com, but it faces towards the bottom station of the glacier at 2700m.

Hello kuwait ian! I'm glad too. Had open heart surgery back in February...Been around a while, but since I think I can forget the ski this winter...I didn't feel up to post much, same as at Epicski.com, I posted a bit more there but...To ski virtually only...
Johnnyboy, that one is from a Chalet in Vermiglio, just past the pass down the valley, pointed toward the Presanella "range" (short answer: yes, toward the glacier) see map here

Thanks Cathy! Thanks everyone. I resumed to work back in may, but nothing else much ...a bit of swimming, some cycling...walking.
Doctors are very, very "conservative" here, and apparently in my case they were right to behave in such a way.
Insamuch I'd wish to, I don't think I'll be skiing this winter, but I did not plan to either, I want a full and lasting recovery more, much more than a speedy one...
I want to last, and have many, many more winters. Ehe. snowHead
