Poster: A snowHead

For all the tech heads out there. And I mean fat as in wide, not phat as in good.
Whilst we're at it, what are the narrowest alpine skis that can be bought today?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Head Supermogul & Mad Trix Mogul at 60mm??? The specialist mogul skis will be pretty thin in most brands.
excluding junior skis, of course.
(Don't you secretly want a pair of Elan Stealths at 45mm?)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

That looks more like a snowboard to me.

that's silly. You could pretty much mount a *lowers voice* monoski binding on that

saw a pair of fischer big stix in a shop a couple of years ago and they looked pretty monstrous.
I have to say I am dubious about whether there is much point in having anything like this in europe but there we are. Maybe good for some serious back country op but to hike in I am guessing you would need to skin a rather fat giraffe.
Would love to know what people think about whether you would ever feel the need to buy a pair?

waitingforwinter, imagine a set of, oh, 120 cm skis with a 140 mm waist for low-lying brush skiing. It may be the available length of the above model that's useless.
