 Poster: A snowHead

Having shelled out for a pair of my own skis this year, I'm now thinking about what I'm going to transport them in next season.
Any recommendations for ski-bags? I guess something with a bit of padding and comfortable straps.
My skis are 155 cm. It's possible in the future I might go up to 165 cm, but can't imagine I'll be skiing on anything longer than that.

With skis that long you have a huge amount of choice. Do you want something you can stuff pretty much everything into or just a bag for the skis?

Probably just a soft bag for the skis and poles. I normally take my boots as hand lugguage.
Mainly after something not too heavy and unwieldy, but that will protect my skis.

I bought an own brand single ski bag from Nevisport, it's stood up really well to loads of trips now and is still in very good condition, I see a fair few ski bags around airports made of thinner material and they are scuffed with holes in at the ends etc. So I would recommend Nevisport for their ski bags if that is what you are looking for. It is easily carried on my shoulder while I wheel my trolley bag at the same time.

All I was looking for a new double ski bag and found this single Soloman promo bag on Nevis Sport for free - fits skis up to 175cm, I have ordered 2 (one for each set) and all it charged me was the 4.95 delivery. I fully expect it to be a hoax or something but thought it was worth a try!!

migletski just had a look on Nevisport website and the freebies have now gone. Darn! Thought it was my lucky day  Perhaps a rush of Snowheads snapped up the last ones...
They are selling what appears to be the same bag for £20, so would be good to know what you think of it when it arrives. Might pop into Nevisport next time I'm in town anyway.

I bought the Ellis Brigham double for my skis last year. Good bag and certainly did the trick.
I'd previously bought the Salomon double but didn't think much of it so took it back to swap it for the Brigham's bag.
