Poster: A snowHead
|
Can anyone help out please.
I'm out canoeing on the River Isere 19 to 25th May and I am looking for accommodation.
There will be 4-6 of us, all very sensible and house trained. We are training for the World Championships so there will be no partying, just training, eating and sleeping.
Ideal location would be Aime, Laundry or even up to Bourg St Maurice.
As close the the valley floor as possible.
Cheers
Nigel

Assuming you have transport try La Petite Auberge on the (Moutier side) edge of Bourg St Maurice. Very good value with decent size rooms and very good food in the Restaurant (the locals come to eat there - I think it is run as a separate concern but you can get half board with a set menu). It is run by a couple one of whom is English. I was there 4 years ago to ski the Tarrentaise area and also a few years before that.
Or if you don't mind being a bit up the hill towards Val d'Isere, by the turn off to the Ste Foy skiing, then the "Auberge sur la Montagne" is fantastic with gourmet standard food and amazing value. (see Tripadvisor where I put in a review)
