Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello all,
I want to arrange a late season trip for myself (Early intermediate skier) Which would be the best resort fpr someone of my skill level? If you have any other ideas rather than Tignes/Val Thorens I,m all ears! I have skied Banso twice and Meribel once. Puzzled Puzzled

EoSB every single time. Ideal for early intermediates because you can sign up for some seriously good group lessons that will take you to the next level with a group of like-minded people. Plus it is a properly good deal. http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=87335

Val Thorens definitely better suited to early intermediate

....but also some lovely skiing that will fit the bill at Espace Killy too!

Also, on our last couple of late season visits - taking in both VT and Tignes - we've found VT to be a lot busier than Tignes -so that might be a factor to consider.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

In April, VT is busy during Easter and during Dutch week - we go the other week for the EoSB Wink

Thanks for the advice all, I am now considering the EOSB bash if I can sort the mode of travel out. Seems a toss up between Snowbus from London on 20th April or an easyjet flight from manchester the next day?

Dogberry, The Easyjet flight from Liverpool is a better bet if your in the North West.

geepee, noted but Manchester airport is closer (I live in West Yorkshire) and compared to the Liverpool flight only £14 dearer.

Dogberry, The reason I suggested Liverpool is that it's an earlier flight and you might be able to get on the Lardy bus transfer arranged by Michelle. I see the Manchester flight gets in at 21:15 so a transfer might be difficult/expensive.

geepee, noted, do you know the times and cost of the lardy bus?

Dogberry, The lardy bus will be waiting for the Liverpool flight as I think it's the last flight in at 16:25, and they're looking at leaving at 17:00 or as soon as we get through. You would have to send a PM to Michelle to see if there is still room on the bus though and what the cost would be.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
