Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

andybabes, It's only a week away, have a look at the webcams :

I doubt that all that snow could disappear in a week.

andybabes, Soll is relatively low but has a great base this season. I was there in January when I missed pretty much 3 days due to too much snow..... Things look set to get colder this week with some fresh snow forecast. Superb area and you'll have a great time if you accept worst case you'll have spring condtions with hard to icy pistes in the morning and slushy snow later in the day.

I've been in similar altitude resorts well into April and had some great skiing.

andybabes, Söll, Scheffau and Ellmau all face north. Brixen is more south facing. More snow is forecast early next week, the forecast today was saying down to 400m ASL but I doubt that some how, more likely to be about 700m or so.

Start early and ski hard all morning. Have a late lunch and a leisurely ski to the gondola at around 3pm and download. The home runs to the valley in the Ski Welt can be murderous at any time of year!

We went early March one year and it was terrible, slush or boilerplate, nothing inbetween, but I can only imagine that this year is a hell of a lot better if it is anything like the low resorts in France.

All those cams are a bit higher up. This one is looking across the valley at Ellmau, only a few miles from Soll http://98.panomax.at/ about 700m. When we were in Ellmau at New Year a couple of years back this was mostly green, although typically it started hurling it down as we packed up on our last day skiing, and was about a foot deep when we left the following day.
