Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Reqest to TOs and (Large) chalet owners

Poster: A snowHead
I have had a request which we can't fill as we only have hotels.

I said I would post this to see if anyone can offer this group anything.

If you have a chalet large enough / in the price range / avalable on the dates, please PM me with your contact details.
I will pass on your contact details to the people - then that's me out of it.

Thanks

Wayne, sorry Wayne, can't help at that budget but I can't imagine they'll be overwhelmed with choice at £460 pp. Thanks for the opportunity though Very Happy

I can't imagine many places are going to have availability for Easter week (the 7th is the Saturday of the Easter weekend) for that sort of price, even with early booking discounts.

Hi All

I have sent "cut-n-paste" copies of all the PM replies I have had from chalet owners. (no TO's answered)

I do agree that the group may be slightly underestimating the costs for the period they want to travel.

That's me out of this now

Dreamworld. If they doubled their budget, it is achievable and there are properties out there that have availability. Less than double the amount and they might find a backwater somewhere that can get them in, but it won't include lift passes and ski hire.

I presume the dates are fixed because of the teenagers and school holidays, otherwise the closest they'll get is to pack lots of people into very economical cars and drive to the EoSB. Even then it will be £500 ppn without their equipment hire.

Don't know the lift pass costs, but there are options in Italy if they can keep that cost down which are vaguely close to the budget. http://www.igluski.com/bormio/hotel-girasole-2000_p32386?holidayid=45604715

Monium, don't think they need to quite double their budget... They're offering £460 which would give you this for less than twice what they offer:

Alpine Elements, St Anton, £599 for the week including flights, half board and liftpass. (But not ski hire which would be another €150... it being St Anton.)

Ski Power, Hotel Gelinotte, £440 incl flights and half board. Lift pass €197, equipment €135.

Edited. Result: http://www.snowcoach.co.uk/page.php?id=286&pid=10&mpg=home £498 including coach travel from the UK, skis and ski pass if they'll go 3 to a room... £598 if they won't, but it is 8 days' skiing.
