Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

No! It's actually quite sunny... ok as much as it can be sunny at 7pm Very Happy It was raining a little bit on morning, but then it cleared up quite good. So it's suppose to be sunny, or at least dry, for rest of week. But I just saw weather forecast on team captains meeting, and temperatures look scary... from 9 to +16c...

kooky, flangesax, you can go rapidly off some people you know! Some of us are stuck in bloody work Evil or Very Mad

Have a couple of beers for me please - I'm trying to follow the races by using the FIS live reporting site, but work keeps getting in the way!

Pity Cuche ended so far down the list, I would have liked to have seen him win as well. He has been a great example for the young racers to follow.

Off to mid station to watch superG this morning. Another spring morning. Can see a lot of activity on track already from apartment. If any one coming to watch from stadium suggest yellow tickets. If a group of 5 or more can get them for 7€ else 11€. Great location.

Would seem snowheads don't really do snow sports judging by the lack of activity on here about the world cup finals. Any way got 7euro "Fan Tickets" for the mens GS and womens SL this morning. A nice early start to get tickets and a front row place on the grandstand. We were 5metres from the finish line with a great view of the GS and SL courses and the finish area. In fact we were just below the Tenne Haus where roof tickets cost 525euros!

What a fantastic experience, as good as the night race and much more civilised what with warm spring sunshine and a few less people, though I think they said 16000 spectators. A dream day for team Austria with Marcel taking the GS and with it the overall, in fact austra 1,2,3 for GS and Kirchgasser taking the SL for Austria. And then there was Mr Cuche. He was in the GS but with a poor first race. The second race was his final ever competitive race, he was first off and the video revealed he was wearing vintage ski clothes and wooden skis! What a showman and what a skier, it looked pretty tricky skiing on the old planks, he got a raucous welcome from the crowd and was still playing with the fans when Ted Ligety came over the line. Most the other racers tried the trade mark cuche ski flick at the end, I think only one pulled it off properly.

Despite the very warm spring weather the piste seem to hold up pretty well. The event is a warm up to next years World Champs and seems to be a success so far. Only complaints from me is the lack of public car parking, though we're walking distance, and all the bloody smokers in the crowd, roll on a ban!

The view

Didier gets a warm welcome
