Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

'Intervene' to get skiers back into skiing

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
If you think that heading was bizarre, wait 'til you click on the following. The American Skiing Company, which runs a number of famous US resorts, is keen to get lapsed skiers back onto the slopes.

They've invented this campaign: SkierIntervention.com. The word 'intervention' is apparently borrowed (err ... maybe a bit cheekily) from campaigns waged in the early '90s for people to get friends off drink and drug habits.

Turn the sound up and work the mouse across the four characters. Is the second one from the left - "Scot Ian" - dubbed by Dick Van Dyke ... or James Coburn?

The bloke on the left I thought was a (bad) Arnold Schwarzenneger impression - in which case he's Austrian...most likely result of sending this to your friends is for them to ring up to check on your mental health wink

That racer sounds like Arnie, so he's not Austrian. WTH is the second blokes accent meant to be? Very Happy

SkierIntervention - which this thread is about - comes in for some criticism from the AdRants site. They claim the site has hidden, controversial, objectives.

I personally think the american ski company shits on us easterners in a certain way which I'm not going to go into because I'm not sure I know how to word the way I feel about that correctly. But I am glad that Sugarbush, mad river glenn, and Jay peak are not part of the american ski company. Those are the 3 best resorts in the east for downright awesome skiing, lets not forget sugarloaf either, only lift serviced above treeling skiing in the east!
