Actually tried one on myself and found the fit was very different to Giro type moulds, which usually fit me, and not in a good way - frontal lobe pressure IIRC.

I've had a Salomon Ranger for a couple of years. Has plenty of ventilation for my big 'ead

I have one of these and have no probs with the ventilation, the only thing i would say is the visor messes with sticking your goggles on top of your head, no biggie and you could take it off.
