Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Midweek transfer to tignes - 7Mar2012

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All

I'm aiming to transfer to Tignes from either Geneva or Grenoble in the early morning on the 7th March. So far i've found either the altibus from geneva (3.5hr wait and 3.5hr transfer time) or a solo taxi (£300) neither of which seem ideal.

Are there any good sharing sites or other mid-week transfer coaches? I've seen a couple of sites that suggest going to the taxi and waiting for a group, is that really a sensible solution?

Otherwise, i guess i'll have to suck it up and take the long route.

Cheers
Nick

(oh, and i'll have ski's with me!)

nick3112, you can put details on the sharing forum at coolbus.co.uk otherwise its the 1215 altibus. Take a book and do your shopping in the supermarket at the end of the airport (follow signs for the railway stn) - its cheaper than in resort!

nick3112, You could try contacting a couple of the tignes specialists. Les Melezes/mountainsun or www.thetigneschaletcompany.com.

Both run numerous Geneva transfers each week.

Good luck.
