Sorry to do this to you, but I think I have a novel Geneva car hire question.
Does anyone know if the dreaded Advantage have a desk French side?
To avoid a long tedious explanation, we can save money by booking with in effect "unknown car company" over "known car company". As long as "unknown car company" isn't Advantage, I am happy.
So - is there any chance of getting Advantage at Geneva French side?
Sorry, hope this makes sense but I thought someone out there would know, if anyone does!

Pamw, yes, I saw that too and it gave me hope but it;s good to have on the spot knowledge.
I think I'll book holiday autos at the cheaper price - after all a £10 saving will keep Mr Badpanda in cheap French wine all trip.
BTW, Pamw, tell me if I'm hallucinating but did we chat on here last year about metal edged cross country skis? (as you do)

yes, we did! good memory. I have bought a pair of Fischer "My Passion" skis, essentially in-track, not metal edged, but wider and shorter. So far am very pleased!

Just back from skiing yesterday. We booked car hire on French side of Geneva with arguscarhire which turned out to be National. It was about £50 cheaper than the quote from Holiday Autos for a week. All went well so will use them again.

mogulski, I have used argus for years and never had any problems with them. They are, however, just brokers and you could easily end up with other companies from them. For example I have a reservation with Alamo from exactly the same place.
