Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just back from a mega 8-dayer in St Anton...and I've been offered a cheap deal for March 17th (St Patricks Day) for Soll, I'm very tempted...should I??

Or suggest and another Austria resort for me....Apres is a must.

do go on your holiday but don't be boring; I am not aware of any tendency in this forum to claim that "France" is better than "Austria" though the converse is certainly not true.

Daft question on a ski forum. Of course you should go, anywhere really as long as there is snow.

dazman, I hear the apres is decent in Söll. Admittedly, it isn't the snow-surest resort, esp. with the heat-wave apparently coming on... But if the price is right, I don't see why you shouldn't go.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Soll is tacky, but having said that I had the best pizza I have ever eatn there. Skiing is OK as I remember it as well. Oh, and if this is your second trip of the year then you wouldn't be able to afford anything to drink if you went to France.

Balls, the SkiWelt is fine for snow, and unless there is a month of +20º and heavy rain, this snow will be sticking around for a while!

If you can do it!!

It's a different type of resort with lots of intermediate piste based skiing. musher, said that the Apres is tacky, which it is in some bars but if you want to find some traditional Austrian Apres then head to the Moonlight or the Hexenalm.

however, the bars that have been described as tacky are also great fun and you will have a great time!!
