Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Planning 2013's trip - suggestions as to where to go please?

All,

OK, so our first ever family ski trip was a massive success and we are already thinking about 2013.

The four of us went to Serre Chevalier (with another family too) and stayed with Club Med. Although we'd be happy to go back there sometime, we are keen to explore new places and so would appreciate recommendations about where to go next.

Ideally we would like:

1. Plenty of greens, blues and easy reds (we only have a week's skiing under our belts!)
2. Ski-in, ski-out accommodation - probably hotel, so we have a pool, entertainment, etc. for the kids (they'll be 7 & 10)
3. To fly (& coach) there, rather than drive there
4. A tendency towards sunnier weather rather than brutal cold
5. Not crazy busy during the Feb half term (Serre Che wasn't)

To be honest, the Club Med Serre Che worked really well for us in all of the above respects. the only thing we'd change next time is that we'd prefer not to have lessons all day every day - if possible we'd like to do morning only lessons next time so we can ski more as a family in the afternoons and days off.

Any thoughts on resorts that we ought to be considering in light of the above?

If you go up the mountain, towards the Italian border, from Serre Chevalier there is the Milky Way waiting for you. At a distance of 8 miles from Briancon you will see Montgenevre, the only French resort of Milky Way and has 100km piste, at the top. This is a resort for known for beginner/early intermediate friendly.

After Montgenevre you will find Claviere, Sanscario, Sestriere and Sauze D'Olux making up a total of 400km piste.

If you find Serre Chevalier not busy then the same applies to Milky Way.

Milky Way is not well connected even all the above are linked together like a "T" with Sestriere being the transverse arm while Montgenevre and Sauze D'Olux at the two extreme ends.
