Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val Gardena

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
All,

Hello again, sorry i've been busy with other stuff so I've bnot been around much.

8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids) are off to Val Gardena next March and I'm wondering if anyone has been there before. Child care is all sorted out (via Ski-Esprit). What's the Skiing like ?

2 of us are top skiiers and will want to (try) and find something challenging if possible.

Reason fior going to Val Gardena - family holiday and somewhere Ski-esprit could get all 8 of us in !!!

Thanks

Simon

Simon,

Fantastic scenery, not known for challenging skiing but is on the Sella Ronda circuit/tour so you can get to Arabba where the steeper stuff can be found. IIRC there is also a WC giant slalom run at La Villa that was pretty steep and icy when I was there last - but that was a long time ago.

There has been quite a lot written in this forum about the Dolomites so do a quick search and see what you can come up with.
