Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I second the advice of Jonpim, although non-operative methods of treating a mortons neuroma tend to have limited success.

Yes Kramer, I have been thinking about this: AlpineWalker has trouble in her ski boots so most (if not all) of the non-operative methods of managing this will not be possible.
AlpineWalker, I also note I was rather unkind to your surgeon, suggesting he (of course, could be a she) might not have mentioned one to two things he should have. Too much Shiraz Grenache . I'm sure he has. If he has warned you of the possible loss of sensation, he sounds a caring chap to me.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the suggests, esp the web sites. Still hoping to identify a worthwhile alternative to surgery, esp as I haven't had any alternatives suggested by the medicos, they started straight in with steriod injections.
Will probably try some pads on the sole of the foot and see how it goes.
PS wearing high heels isn't the cause, as i'm a dad in my forties, suspect the cause is consequential due to a number of non critical injuries to the foot, including a car driving on to it and stopping when I shouted, unfortunately still on my foot!
Thanks again for the advice.
