£ 3500 I think is an approx figure I came up with the other day. £4500 should be a reasonable "max"... but very interested to hear from people who weren't using napkin math in a coffee break at work after a long day...

No chance do you need to spend £3500
I stayed at the black diamond lodge this January for 12 days skiing. All in, including flights, lift passes, spending money and food etc i spent £2400 not a bit more and i didn't really scrimp.
I should say that also includes 3 days away to other resorts for a change of scenery and fresh tracks!
If you want serious powder and an epic ski trip, go to Japan, you will not be disappointed

Papalaz, you can get some quotes online from the guys we used here,

Roughly 1,500 for getting and staying there, 7 day lift pass was 286, then you need to add in food and drink.....

Sounds about right. If you can find cheap flights you can maybe shave a bit off that. If you buy lift passes on a daily basis and only ski one part of the mountain without night skiing you can save on the lift pass too.
