Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Please recommend me a guide in Kitzbuhel

In Kitz for three days early March. 4 guys, all reasonably proficient. It's one guy's 40th so thought the other three of us could club together and sort out a guide for a day.

Any recommendations?

Thx

Do you want a Guide or an off-piste ski instructor?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cynic, guide. I'll have all my gear with me so will happily skin for turns; others will rent or, if necessary due to conditions, we'll happily look at lift-served slack country.

Try emailing the Austrain Alpenverein (sp?) - the Alpine CLub - if you don't get any responses.

Sorry, I don't know any individual guides in Kitzbuhel, but this is the site for Kitzbuhel High Mountain Guides (Bergfuehrer). Why not email them or ring them? http://www.bergsportfuehrer-tirol.at/tirol/Sektion-Kitzbuehel/

Depends what your definition of a guide is. If its someone official for off pisting for example thats one thing.
If you are looking for someone to ski with knows the area well, then Im in Kitz from sunday the 4th thru to the 11th. Skiid Kitz for the last 12 years.
Your welcome to touch base and come skiing with us. There a party of 3 guys with wives probably all skiing seperately. (thats male/female if you know what i mean)

Also in Kitz for 4 days, but from 16th-19th March. Appreciate the replies above - a quick question, do you need an official instructor to take you off-piste (nothing stupidly crazy, just a bit m,ore than crusty bits between pistes)? And if so - suggestions for sonmeone in Kitz would be much appreciated.

5 chaps, all advanced intermediate to advanced.
