I would say Ischgl, saalbach and Soelden. Mayrhofen also meant to be good but hVe not been there.

Depends what you're after IMO. Most of the bigger resorts in particular have a rage of apres up to danicng on table and bars in your ski boots! Mayrhofen is good, and as it's a relatively large town it's easy to keep away from the more rowdy stuff if it's not your cup of tea. I'd rank Kitzbuhel and Soll along with what has already been mentioned but there are loads!!

funny. ive been solden twice. was there in new years
3pm to 7pm apres is great. after that the only place busy are 2 night clubs and bang bang at 9pm is bit much
one pub called chris bar is normal pub and fine for few beers before going clubbing but iin terms of busy bars 7 -11pm before clubbing its actually has none!!!!

Kitzbuhl Londoner, preceded by the Milch bar; I was once banned from there for being an associate of the designer to the land speed record holder Thrust 2, I believe John still holds the fastest standing quarter mile whist on an Elsan, he was frog marched out and deposited in the street by the lady owners; if still going lively.

Ischgl is widely regarded as having best night life, not necessarilly best apres though.

Can't help I'm afraid. I always peak way too early on the Austrian apres ski so am usually fast asleep by the time the nightlife kicks in.

Mayrhofen offers some good night life. It does need stamina and commitment....

Of the five Austrian ski resorts I have visited I would rate the apres ski/night life in the following order from best to worse:
1) St Anton
2) Ischgl
3) Saalbach
4) Kitzbuhel
5) Obergurgl
The type of Apres I like = Cheesy German/Austrian songs with silly moves and singalong English classics
The type of nightlife I like = Standing around with a drink in my hand watching the fillies dance - preferably to a live band

Ischgl is the best late night 'proper' nightlife (ie, NOT apres). Other than Innsbruck (and Vienna) obv, which I'm assuming you're not counting here. Saalbach comes third after St Anton and Ischgl IME, although Mayrhofen is supposed to be pretty good too.
