Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon 1080 gun, boot centres

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,
Does anyone know (or where I can find Out) what the centres should be for Salomon 1080 gun 2007 model, 174s, I believe it's measured from the back, but it's not marked on the ski (unusually) and can't find it on the salomon site or general web search. I've got it at about 790 at the moment which seems ok, but got some new boots so need to reset any way (rental bindings so not difficult) and I think they have 2 options (like my old foils) but not sure.
cheers
Mike

No help to you, but I checked mine and the (two) centres are clearly marked on one with corresponding lines on the other, but they're the 2006 model (I think).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I googled for Salomon Shop Practices Manual 2007 and found this - http://www.salomoncertification.com/manuals/SPM_07_ENvCD.pdf

Page 43 1080 Gun 174 is either 802 or 782 mm - and measured from the tail.

Last year I emailed Amer Communications, Salomon parent co - maarit.mikkonen@amersports.com, and asked them to pass on a Q about my Lords and a few days later, the Salomon Ski techs replied with the info. I was told that printed boot centre marks on a ski are only accurate to +/-5mm!!

If you are also after binding templates, then Teton Gravity Research website has them all.
